Testimonial

"eSAY worked very hard to get to know our business quickly.  They dedicated clearly capable technical resource and ensured that they were quickly adding value to our business."

Andrew Fahey, IT Director Brookson

Our highly capable team of project managers is available to deliver part or full project life cycles.

eSAY has many years experience of delivering substantial, business-critical IT projects in what can often be complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

From development of sophisticated bespoke business software to web-based sales and integrated inventory management systems, we can help.

Change management

Larger scale projects often form part of a programme of change, requiring integration within the business to be carefully planned, communicated and implemented.

This is often the case, for example, with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems – where user involvement, engagement and training must be balanced and achieved at an early stage.

It is important to win hearts and minds and eSAY’s professional, communicative and carefully planned approach has proved to pay dividends with countless customers.

Project management process

The process we adopt is geared to success.

Projects are delivered efficiently and within agreed deadlines, with resource requirements, project milestones and deliverables carefully scoped, agreed and reviewed throughout the project lifecycle.

The project management process takes in:

  • Development of Project Initiation Document (PID) – covering nature of the project, its outputs and deliverables, resource requirements, stakeholders and approval processes.
  • Project planning – providing clear definition of requirements, scheduling of project stages, milestones, deliverables and outputs and all necessary resource and reporting requirements.
  • Development of any necessary specifications.
  • Project Implementation planning, stage approval and acceptance processes.
  • Project team development and communication – both eSAY technical and client team members, the latter often made up of technical and user personnel, and providing clarity on individual roles and responsibilities.
  • Project critical path analysis – ensuring that tasks are scheduled in the right order and project interdependencies identified at an early stage.
  • Project financial planning and reporting.
  • Project contingency planning including identification of any necessary contingency budget.
  • Project measurement and progress management – presented through a clear dashboard of Management Information (MI).
  • Post project review and reporting.

Project planning

During the planning phase, we will provide clear definition of requirements, schedule project stages, milestones, deliverables and outputs and all necessary resource and reporting requirements.

Clear project parameters will be established – covering budgets, timelines, tolerance levels, range, scope and levels of authority.

Project team members and decision making processes will be documented, clearly identifying the necessary people resource – both within eSAY and client.

Clear check points will be built into the plan, bringing clients visibility of project progress at all key stages.

Planning forms part of the overall project management process detailed above and geared to 100% success.
